Court Overturns $72 Million Verdict, Landing a Victory for Boeing Against Trades Secrets Claims

Congratulations to Hueston Hennigan on securing a complete victory for their client, The Boeing Company, in a trade secrets case that initially handed down a verdict that favored the plaintiff, a now-defunct aerospace startup Boeing invested in in 2017.

In a post-trial verdict before U.S. District Senior Judge James Robart in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington, the federal judge overturned a jury verdict that purported claims against Boeing of misappropriation of 19 alleged trade secrets and tortious interference with business expectancies.

Congratulations to John Hueston, Moez Kaba, Sourabh Mishra, Yegor Fursevich, and the rest of the trial team on obtaining a full vindication for Boeing.
